Upon arrival, you'll check in at a centrally located hotel, granting you the freedom to explore the city at your own pace. 7:30 - 8:30: Bid farewell to the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City as your adventure begins with a trip to My Tho, a charming town nestled on the left bank of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, pay a visit to Vinh Trang Pagoda, a historic site dating back to the late 19th century. Subsequently, board a sampan and cruise down the river, navigating the picturesque Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise islands. Pause at Unicorn Island, stroll along country lanes, explore orchards, partake in tropical fruits, and enjoy local folk music performed by the residents. Embark on a morning journey to explore Independence Palace, also known as the Reunification Palace, constructed on the grounds of the former Norodom Palace. This iconic landmark, designed by architect Ngo Viet Thu, holds historical significance in Ho Chi Minh City. Continue your exploration with a visit to impressive French Colonial structures, including Notre Dame Cathedral and the historic Central Post Office. In the afternoon, venture to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a journey of approximately one and a half hours by bus.
