Day 1

Day 1: Luang Prabang Arrival

Morning- Arrive at Luang Prabang at the airport and transfer to the hotel for checking- Take the city tour to discover Luang Prabang- Visit the first stop - the majestic Wat Xiengthong - a superb piece of Lao temple architectureNote: If you have enough time, you can do some things such as:+ Wander around the small streets of the city center to enjoy the life of the locals+ Visit the ancient house of Huean Chan, the Chantal wooden house dating back to 100 years old- Continue to Royal Palace Museum, which was built in 1904 during the French colonial era for King Sisavang Vong and his familyAfternoon- Go towards the top of Mount Phousi to visit the holy gilded stupa- Admire the wonderful panoramic view of the city and the Mekong River at sunset time- Come to the local Night Market to buy handmade textiles created by hill tribe people Meals: Dinner Accommodation: Hotel in Luang Prabang Activities: - Pay a visit to some famous places such as Wat Xiengthong, Royal Palace Museum,… - Take a wide view of the top of Mount Phousi- Head to the Night Market

Day 2: Luang Prabang - Pak Ou Caves

Morning- Wake up early to join the daily morning almsgiving, the most sacred tradition of Laos, which dates to the 14th century- Arrive at the domestic market near the former Royal PalaceAfternoon- Visit Wat Sen, the city’s oldest Buddhist temple- Have a chance to take a beautiful view of the tranquil country by cruising upstream on the Mekong River- Visit the magnificent Pak Ou Caves, a 16th-century cave monastery filled with thousands of Buddha images - Stop at Ban Muang Keo, a famous village for its traditional Lao rice whisky distilling- Reach two well-known temples in Luang Prabang: Wat Mai and Wat Visuon- Get to know about Laos’ many ethnic cultures at the Traditional Art and Ethnology CenterMeals: Breakfast, Lunch Accommodation: Hotel in Luang Prabang Activities: - Join the alms activity donating food to the Monks - Visit some famous temples: Wat Sen, Wat Mai, and Wat Visuon- Cruise on the Mekong River to take the breathtaking scenery- Explore the Pak Ou Caves- Visit Traditional Art and Ethnology Center

Day 3: Luang Prabang - Kuangsi Waterfall - Vientiane

Morning- Drive to Kuang Si Waterfall, the biggest waterfall in the Luang Prabang - Reach the Bear Rescue Center, which houses a couple of dozen animals rescued from poachers and traffickers- Stop at the Kuang Si Falls Butterfly Park (closed from 15 APR – 30 JUN; 01-14 SEP, 01 JAN every year)- Visit the Ock Pop Tock Living Craft Center, where weavers, spinners, and batik makers produce top-quality fabricsAfternoon- Transfer to the airport for a flight to Vientiane, the capital city of Laos- Arrive at Vientiane and then go to the hotel for check-inMeals: Breakfast Accommodation: Hotel in Vientiane Activities: - Admire the majestic beauty of Kuang Si Water - Visit the Bear Rescue Center- Explore the Kuang Si Falls Butterfly Park- Stop at Ock Pop Tock Living Craft Center

Day 6: Hanoi - Halong Bay
