Tour Overview

Day 1

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival

Upon reaching Noi Bai Airport, once you've completed all necessary customs procedures, kindly make your way to the exit gate. Keep an eye out for your designated driver, easily identifiable in the lobby by holding a signboard bearing your name. In case you encounter any difficulty locating your driver, please proceed to the Airport information counter positioned between the Domestic and International arrival lobbies (inside the terminal). Feel free to use the emergency numbers provided by your travel advisor for immediate assistance. Your driver will promptly come to greet you and facilitate your transfer to the hotel for check-in, allowing you to enjoy some leisure time. Stay overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2

Day 2: Explore the Natural Beauty of Ninh Binh (B/L) (Join group tour)

Ninh Binh is renowned for its enchanting landscapes featuring limestone mountains emerging from lush paddies, rich historical significance, and serene ambiance. Your tour guide will rendezvous with you at your hotel lobby, scheduled between 7:30 and 8:00 am (the exact time will be communicated the day prior to the tour). Board the shuttle bus and enjoy the scenic 100 km journey to Hoa Lu, the former capital of Vietnam. Immerse yourself in history as your guide shares insights, and marvel at the surviving temples dedicated to the inaugural emperors of Vietnam: King Dinh and King Le, constructed in the 17th century. By approximately 11:30 am, you'll reach Tam Coc for a delightful Vietnamese lunch before embarking on a rowing boat adventure along the river. Explore the beauty of Tam Coc and Bich Dong during the 1.5-hour journey, visiting three caves: Hang Ca (the first grotto), Hang Hai (the second grotto), and Hang Ba (the third grotto). Experience the magical ambiance as you float through the caves. Following the boat trip, embark on a cycling excursion around the picturesque village to discover more scenic wonders. If desired, an additional cycling route to the nearby Thai Vi Temple, situated close to the Tam Coc wharf, is also available. Around 4:00 pm, rejoin the shuttle bus for the return journey to Hanoi, with an expected arrival time of approximately 6:30 pm. Stay overnight in Hanoi. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Day 3

Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D) (shared cruise)

Halong Bay stands as a natural marvel of global significance, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Upon arrival, the captivating beauty of this destination will undoubtedly leave you in awe. Prepare to be enchanted by the world's most stunning vistas and indulge in a leisurely cruise, partaking in the exciting activities meticulously arranged for your enjoyment. Following breakfast, complete the check-out process at the hotel and commence your journey from Hanoi to Halong Bay. The cruise team will convene at the hotel lobby between 8:00-9:00 am (the exact time will be confirmed the day prior to the tour). Upon arriving at the jetty around noon, board the boat for the cruise. A warm welcome and check-in process will be followed by a delightful lunch, served as the cruise navigates through the numerous islets. During the afternoon, engage in various activities such as swimming, kayaking, or cave exploration (depending on the boat's specific itinerary), or simply unwind on the deck. As the day draws to a close, the boat drops anchor in a picturesque location, providing a perfect opportunity to witness the mesmerizing sunset before enjoying dinner. Overnight stay on board. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Note: In the event of inclement weather, the itinerary may be altered or canceled if boats are restricted from leaving the port. Rest assured, your travel consultant will arrange suitable alternatives in such cases.
Day 4

Day 4: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Travel to Ho Chi Minh (B/L)

As the morning sun graces Halong, indulge in a delightful breakfast while the vessel gracefully sails back to the port. Relish an early lunch before reaching the port and disembarking. Day 5

Day 5: Cu Chi Tunnels (B) (Joun a group tour)

Cu Chi, situated 70 km from Ho Chi Minh City, earned the wartime moniker "area of steel." Boasting an extensive tunnel network exceeding 200km, it served as an impregnable underground village during the Vietnam-American War. Today, you have the opportunity to delve into history and gain insights into the lives of people during this tumultuous period. Begin your day early, meeting the guide between 7:30-8:00 am (the exact time will be confirmed the day before the tour). Board the shuttle bus for a 1.5-hour journey to Cu Chi. Upon arrival, before delving into the tunnels, watch an informative video detailing the construction process and how people endured the harsh wartime conditions. Explore the remaining area and tunnel systems, witnessing specially crafted living spaces with kitchens and bedrooms adjacent to weapon depots, field hospitals, and command centers—facilities designed to meet the basic needs of those residing within the tunnels. Additionally, discover hidden trap doors and intricate traps within the labyrinthine tunnels for security purposes. Conclude your visit with a cup of special tea and cassava (guerrilla food during the war), allowing for a moment of relaxation before the return journey to Ho Chi Minh City. The expected arrival time is around 3:00 pm. Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. Meals: Breakfast
Day 6

Day 6: Mekong Delta Exploration (B/L) (Join a group tour)

The Mekong Delta holds significant importance in Vietnam as a major supplier of rice and fruits for the entire country, earning it the title of the "rice bowl." Exploring the intricate network of mangrove-lined riverways and visiting local workshops and gardens offers a captivating glimpse into the countryside life of Southern Vietnam. Commence your day with breakfast at the hotel, preparing for pick-up between 7:30-8:00 am (the exact time will be confirmed the day before the tour). Board the shuttle bus and journey to My Tho. Upon arrival, visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda, dating back to the late 19th century. Next, embark on a sampan boat to cruise along the river, navigating through scenic river islands. Pause at one of the islands to stroll through the countryside, explore local orchards, and savor tropical fruits while enjoying a traditional folk music performance. Resume the sampan cruise along the Thoi Son canal, immersing yourself in the scenic beauty of the countryside. Make a stop at another village to visit a local workshop and witness the process of making coconut candies, along with a visit to a honeybee farm. Indulge in honey tea and candies, relishing the serene atmosphere. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant, providing a moment of relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on a cycling excursion around Tan Thanh village to observe the local lifestyle.
