Day 1

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival

Morning: Upon arrival at Hanoi airport, our representatives will be there to welcome you. Meet our tour guide at the designated meeting point and receive a brief orientation. Transfer directly to your hotel in Hanoi. Utilize your free time while awaiting lunch. Afternoon/ Night: Explore various cultural shows, such as the Water Puppet Show, Vietnamese Cooking Class, or Foodie Tours, which are detailed in the provided links below: Hanoi Street Food Tour: Indulge in delectable Hanoi street food, including Banh Mi, Bun Cha, Banh Cuon, Egg Coffee, and discover unique local spots not found in guidebooks. Hanoi Cooking Class Half Day: Hone your bargaining skills at the market to procure flavorful condiments. Engage in hands-on cooking, guided by our expert, to prepare both non-vegetarian and vegetarian Vietnamese dishes. Meals: Not Applicable Accommodation: Hotel in Hanoi Activities: Arrival in Hanoi Enjoy cultural performances Relax at the hotel in Hanoi Kindly note that both international and domestic terminals may experience occasional crowding during the day. Day 2

Day 2: Hanoi City tour half-day – Night train to Lao Cai

Morning: Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel. Choose between a car or motorbike for transportation, depending on your preference. The route can also be customized based on your interests. Commence the day at 8:00 am with a visit to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s inaugural university, the iconic One Pillar Pagoda, the solemn Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh, and his humble stilt house (Please note: Sites are observed from the outside, closed on Mon and Fri, and during Jun - Aug). Stroll along the picturesque West Lake and explore the Tran Quoc Buddhist Pagoda dating back to the sixth century. Relish lunch at an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Afternoon: Return to your hotel, ideally located near the train station, in preparation for the night train journey to Lao Cai. Enjoy some free time for last-minute exploration of Hanoi. Night: At around 21:00, our tour guide will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to the train station for the night train bound for Lao Cai. The train is scheduled to depart at approximately 21:35. Note that the compartments are designed for shared sleeping, with two lower and two upper berths in each compartment. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch Accommodation: Overnight on the train Activities: - Discover Hanoi's historical landmarks. Prepare for the night train journey to Lao Cai. During the train journey, our tour guide will not accompany you. Train schedules are subject to change. Private compartments are available upon request with an additional charge. Train journeys provide an authentic local experience, as cabins are shared with other passengers (unless a private cabin is requested and fully paid for with a supplement). Restrooms at either end of the carriages complete the local experience.
Day 3

Day 3: Lao Cai – Sapa – Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van

Morning/ Afternoon: Arrival at Lao Cai train station is expected between 5:30 - 6:00. Our driver will be ready to pick you up at the train station and transfer you to Sapa on the shared tourist bus. Take some time to relax and enjoy breakfast at the hotel until the local tour guide arrives for today's trekking adventure. The local guide will pick you up at around 9:30 to commence the trek. Embark on a trek to Y Linh Ho village, nestled by the Muong Hoa River, and explore the Black H’mong village of Lao Chai. Continue the trek to Ta Van village (1,200 m) to interact with the Zay people. The Zay is a relatively small minority group, with around 38,000 members, residing primarily in the mountains of Northwest Vietnam. Return to Sapa by car. Night: Enjoy free time at your leisure for the remainder of the day. Overnight stay at Sapa Hotel. Meals: Breakfast, Picnic Lunch Accommodation: Hotel in Sapa Activities: Trek to Y Linh Ho village in Lao Chai. Trek to Ta Van village to visit the Zay people. Relax and unwind in Sapa. Early check-in is available upon room availability in Sapa, subject to an additional charge.
Day 4

Day 4: Sapa – Cat Cat – Sin Chai - Hanoi

Morning/ Afternoon: Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel and complete the check-out process. Our tour guide will pick you up for the day's excursion at approximately 9:00. Begin a scenic walk towards the South-western part of Sapa to explore Cat Cat Village, inhabited by the Black H’mong community, one of the well-known ethnic villages in the region. Witness the breathtaking waterfall, a historic vestige of a hydroelectric power station constructed by the French during the colonial era in Vietnam. Enjoy a delightful picnic lunch beside the river. Continue the trek for 3 km to reach Sin Chai Village, situated at the base of Fansipan Mountain, also known as "the Roof of Indochina," offering captivating mountain landscapes. Return to the main road and transfer back to Sapa town on a jeep for a 3 km journey. Night: Take a shared limousine for the transfer back to Hanoi.
