Our Motorcycle tour commences with a scenic ride along the dyke roads tracing the Red River's path toward Thac Ba Lake, offering stunning vistas of the countryside, with expansive rice paddies and verdant tea fields. We then veer onto a smaller path leading to Vu Linh village, nestled alongside Thac Ba Lake and inhabited by the Dzao ethnic minority. The village is renowned for its warm hospitality and the incredibly friendly nature of its residents, providing an exceptional and heartfelt welcome. Accommodation for the night will be at a Home-stay in Vu Linh. Summary: Distance Covered: 180 km Meals: Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Home-stay
Day 2

Day 2: THAC BA MOTORCYCLE TOURS TO HA GIANG CITY

Following breakfast, our journey on motorcycles continues along the picturesque Thac Ba Lake, traversing a quaint path adorned with palm trees and offering breathtaking mountain vistas. We eventually merge onto the main Road 2, embarking on our route to Ha Giang. Here, we halt for the night and process the necessary permits. Summary: Distance Covered: 180 km Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Hotel
Day 3

Day 3: HA GIANG MOTORCYCLE TOURS TO DONG VAN (HA GIANG) – OFFROAD MOTORBIKE TOURS TO TRIBAL VILLAGES

Upon securing the permit for border area travel from Ha Giang's Immigration Police, our motorcycle journey leads us along challenging yet exceptionally picturesque mountain roads within the vibrant territories of various hill-tribes. We ascend towards the Ma Pi Leng Pass, a breathtaking site boasting cloud-kissed mountain ranges and the serene Nho Que River meandering into the distance. Describing the Ma Pi Leng Pass, nestled between Dong Van and Meo Vac, near Vietnam's northernmost tip, proves a challenge; it's akin to an awe-inspiring painting, captivating the gaze of all admirers and nature enthusiasts. We navigate a winding track until reaching the Vuong Family's Residence, situated 14 kilometers prior to Dong Van. Known as the rulers of the Hmong People in Dong Van, Ha Giang, the Vuong Family's residence, reflects exquisite Chinese architecture amidst the scenic Sa Phin Valley. Constructed solely from wood and imported rocks from China, this residence stands as a testament to man's artistry in the heavenly Sa Phin Valley. In this remote expanse, we encounter hard-working local inhabitants, marveling at their resilience in residing amidst the rocky terrain. Upon reaching Dong Van Town, we'll have extra time to stroll through its ancient streets adorned with centuries-old H'mong dwellings, fashioned from clay bricks and tile roofs. Summary: Distance Covered: 160 km Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Hotel
Day 4

Day 4: DONG VAN MOTORCYCLE TOURS TO BA BE NATIONAL PARK (BAC KAN) VIA MEO VAC

The ongoing road construction contributes to elongating the journey despite covering only a short distance. Nevertheless, this allows for a leisurely pace, affording a deeper appreciation of the stunning Vietnamese landscape. Our expedition leads us through the untamed landscapes of the mythical Ha Giang province, encompassing the Meo Vac region. This area shares its borders with Dong Van District in Ha Giang Province and Bao Lam District in Cao Bang Province. Meo Vac predominantly lies within the Rock Plateau of Dong Van, elevating over 1000 meters above sea level. Enduring harsh winter climates from November to April, characterized by dry, freezing temperatures, Meo Vac is home to diverse ethnic minorities such as the H’mong, King, Tay, Dzao, among others. These communities have steadfastly preserved their cultures, insulated from external influences. In the afternoon, a delightful motorbike ride awaits as we descend towards Bac Kan Province. Subsequently, a local boat ride on the Na Hang Hydro Power Factory reservoir guides us to a village near the Dau Dang waterfall within Ba Be National Park, where we'll be accommodated for the night in a home-stay. Summary: Distance Covered: 160 km Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Home-stay
Day 5

Day 5: BA BE MOTORCYCLE TOURS TO HANOI

Please note: Today is a significant day, necessitating an early start and cautious riding on Road 3. Following breakfast, we'll embark on another boat excursion across Ba Be Lake to the opposite side before resuming our journey on motorcycles towards Cho Ra, connecting to the main Road 3. Nestled within Ba Be National Park is an abundant biosphere featuring the world's sole freshwater karst lake and a myriad of rare flora and fauna species. Covering 10,048 hectares, this biodiverse park harbors 1,268 species of flora and fauna, alongside expansive cave systems and a vast freshwater lake. Established in 1992 by the Vietnamese Government, it stands as a sanctuary preserving the northeastern forest ecosystems. Ba Be is home to over 3,000 residents from the Tay, Nung, Dao, and Mong ethnic minorities, dwelling within 13 villages scattered across the park. The Tay community, accounting for 58% of the park's population, has inhabited this area for centuries. En route on Road 3 back to Hanoi, traffic tends to intensify as the day progresses, emphasizing the importance of returning before the rush hour congestion sets in. Summary: Distance Covered: 230 km Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
