Tour Overview

Day 1

Day 1: Bangkok Arrival

- Upon arrival at Bangkok Airport, our guide will pick you up and transfer to your hotel in Bangkok- Complete the check-in procedure, you will have free time at leisureMeals: NA Accommodation: Hotel in Bangkok Please proceed to the meeting point located on the 2nd floor, inside the arrivals hall, at Exit B gate No.6. Your representative in a blue polo will be holding a sign with your name on it. In case of multiple pick ups, the signs may be hanging on the aluminum railing at our meeting point.
Day 2

Day 2: Full-day City Temples – Grand Palace & Thonburi Canal Tour

Morning- Start exploring the top finest temples in Bangkok, including Wat Traimit - home to the world's largest solid golden Buddha- Come to Wat Pho, housing the largest reclining Buddha in Thailand- Continue to Wat Phra Kaew, known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha which is regarded as the most sacred Buddhist temple in Thailand- Then other dazzling Thai-Buddhist architectural temples in the Grand Palace ComplexAfternoon- Begin to discover the waterways and wind through the quaint canals on a traditional ‘long tail’ boat- Every Thonburi Canal Tour couldn't miss out the spectacular Wat Arun, the iconic temple towering 79 meters over the Chao Phraya River Meals: Breakfast, Lunch Accommodation: Hotel in Bangkok Please note: Visitors should wear long pants, shoes that cover the heel, and shirts that cover the upper arm (no vests). Day 3: Bangkok Free day

- Enjoy your free day in BangkokOptional tour: Ayutthaya Discovered by Boat & Van full-day- The morning departure from Bangkok by road to the former capital of Ayutthaya - Stop off at Bang-Pa-In, a superb Summer Palace of King Rama V with an intriguing mixture of Thai, Chinese and Gothic architecture- Head further north to visit a number of ancient temple ruins and royal monasteries like Wat Mahatad, Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, and Wihan Phra Mongkhon Bophit- On the way back to Bangkok, embark on Grand Pearl Cruise and enjoy the sumptuous buffet lunch with a diversity of oriental and western cuisines served on-board- The cruise will head towards Nontaburi, Koh Kred, Chat with the Monn community before getting to BangkokMeals: Breakfast Accommodation: Hotel in Bangkok

Day 4: Bangkok – Fly to Chiang Mai – Half-day City Tour

Morning- Private transfer from hotel to Bangkok Airport to get a flight to Chiang Mai- After about one hour air transfer, you will reach Chiang Mai International Airport and transfer to the hotel with our tour guide- Begin the half-day city tour with the first destination of Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, regarded as one of the most respected temples in Thailand - After you descend the mountain, first destination is Wat Chedi Luang, a Lanna-style chedi that was once one of the tallest structures in ancient Chiang Mai- View a collection of classic Lana art and explore an old library at Wat Phra Singh, or Temple of the Lion Buddha- Wandering around the gardens at Wat Suan Dok, flower Garden Temple, where you can check out a 500-year-old bronze Buddha statue, one of the largest in ThailandAfternoon and Evening- You have free time to join in your own activitesMeals: Breakfast Accommodation: Hotel in Chiang Mai

Day 5: Chiang Mai – Half-day Elephant Natural Park (joined tour)

- Enjoy a half-day morning visit to Elephant Nature Park, a rescue and rehabilitation centre for elephants, as well as many other rescued animals- Spend half day observing and hearing about the story of rescued and orphaned elephants- Support the regional projects and provide ongoing/ future care for their herdMeals: Breakfast, Lunch Accommodation: Hotel in Chiang Mai *Park visits are all about spending quality time observing and being with the herd. We do not adhere to a strict schedule. The best way to make the most of your visit is to relax, watch, and learn about elephants. *There is no riding or bathing the elephants at ENP.

Day 6: Chiang Mai – Fly to Hanoi

Morning- Transfer from the hotel to Chiang Mai Airport then fly to Hanoi- Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will meet our guide and transport to the hotel in city centre by coachNote: Hotel rooms may not be ready until 2:00 pm but an early check-in would be guaranteed with a surchargeAfternoon and EveningIf you're interested in these shows, please contact our travel consultants to make a reservation.Opt 1: Water Puppet Show where puppets are performed on a water stage in the theme of folk music, presenting ancient tales, folklores and daily life in Vietnamese countryside. Opt 2: Tu Phu (Four Palaces) Show is an out-of-the-world show about rituals of spirit practiced in the Vietnamese indigenous religion in lively music, colors and dance performance. Day 7

Day 7: Hanoi half day city tour – Night train to Lao Cai

Morning- Have breakfast then you will have free time before the city tour in the afternoonAfternoon and Evening- Begin the half-day Hanoi City Tour by car or motorbike depend on your interest (Note that the routes and schedule can be flexible too)- Depart from the hotel for a visit to Temple of Literature - the Vietnam’s first university established within a temple to educate Vietnam's royalty since 1076- The next stop to One Pillar Pagoda, an one-of-a-kind Vietnam’s iconic temple- Continue to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum of the historic father figure of modern Vietnam and his modest house on stilts - Halt at the picturesque West Lake and its sixth century Tran Quoc Buddhist Pagoda, which is regarded as the most ancient pagoda in Hanoi- Enjoy a Vietnamese meal for the taste of authentic- 21:30: Transfer to Hanoi Train Station for an overnight trip to Lao Cai Station- Have a good night in shared sleeping compartments (2 lower and 2 upper berths per compartment)Meals: Breakfast, Lunch Accommodation: Overnight train to Lao Cai *Our tour guide will not accompany during the train trip *Train schedule is subject to change *Private compartments on request at surcharge *Train journeys are part of a great local experience. Day 8: Lao Cai – Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van

Morning- 5:30 - 6:00: Arrive at Lao Cai Train Station and transfer to Sapa by a tourist shared bus on a 1-hour excursionNote: Early check-in upon arrival is possible upon room availability (surcharge applicable)- Relax for a while to get ready for our full-day tour- Hit off the road to two villages of the H’mong and Dzay People, called Lao Chai, Ta Van respectively. The trek starts from Lao Chai to Ta Van in the distance of 3km- Lunch at local family may give you a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn about the northern-high house architecture, local daily life styles and exclusive customsAfternoon and Evening- End of the trekking trip, our bus will pick you up to Sapa town center. Day 9: Sapa – Cat Cat – Sin Chai – Hanoi

Morning- After breakfast at the hotel, begin the second day trekking to the Southwest, where Cat Cat Village located, one of the more well-known ethnic villages in Sapa- Enjoy picnic lunch by the side of the river, then continue trekking to Sin Chai Village, situated at the foot of Fansipan Mountain - On the way back to the main road, there is a jeep ride to pick you up to transfer to your hotelAfternoon- Continue the itinerary and come back to Hanoi on a 4.5-hour bus rideMeals: Breakfast, Lunch Accommodation: Hotel in Hanoi

Day 10: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Overnight on Cruise

Day 11

Day 11: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Fly to Hue

- Early birds can admire the alluring sunrise over the karst formations of Halong Bay- Breakfast (or brunch on some boats) will be served shortly thereafter- Upon disembarkation, our driver will be waiting to provide transport to Hanoi then transfer by car to the airport in Hanoi for a 1.15-hour flight to Hue- Welcome by our driver in Da Nang Airport then transport to hotel in Hue. Day 12: Hue Half-day City Tour

Day 16: Mekong Delta Full-day Tour

Day 18: Siem Reap – Ta Prohm – Angkor Wat – Phnom Bakheng
