The following tours have been designed to take in as many of the country’s highlights as possible in a limited time. The first itineraries outlined here are two 2-day tours of Vietnam’s major cities: Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Additional suggestions are included in case visitors want to spend more time in either city. Next is a two-week tour that includes all the main attractions between these two cities along Highway 1 from north to south. The trip begins in Hanoi and takes in several UNESCO World Heritage sites, including Halong Bay, Hue, and Hoi An, as well as the beach resorts of Nha Trang and Mui Ne, before ending in Ho Chi Minh City.
